Week in Review

Have I mentioned before that I really like winter weather? This week I finally got to wear my winter coat that I have only worn for one prior cold spell. However, the weathermen were misleading and said we would get snow and we got none. Not one flake. It was disappointing.

We even had a rolling power outage but no snow to go with it. I like winter so much, on Wednesday morning before 6 a.m., I bundled up and went to CrossFit when the temps were in the 20s and the gym isn’t heated. The power went out in class, but since we don’t use machines, we worked out in the dark. Hardcore athlete I am.

This week, I updated my About Me page to answer more questions. Be sure to take a look and leave a comment if you have other questions.

Here’s a look back at the week:

Sunday: Spectating the Houston Marathon

P.S. A shout out to another friend, Mike Piazza, who finished the Houston Marathon with a time of 3:12. He came in 208th place in the whole race of 11,000 registered runners and 35th in his age group. That is amazing! His average pace was 7:21, which is faster than I can do much of anything. I saw him at Mile 8 and he was going too fast to even recognize me. Congrats Mike!
