Hello again from NYC! We are currently in Long Island for a wedding but we spent a few days before in the city. Here are some more pictures from walking around, mostly of Central Park. One day I walked around with with my sister-in-law and father-in-law in the Park, and the next day I walked by myself through the Upper West Side then Upper East Side cutting through the Park at 72nd. I love to walk around cities with no plan in mind. You also don’t buy as much stuff when you have to carry it all home, in addition to a large camera!

I just love the paths and trees above. I was also lucky to be here during cherry blossom season! I have never seen cherry blossoms before. They actually look like snow on the trees, I thought.

All of the big buildings and commotion always makes me wonder what everyone does there. Where they’re going, and how their days are so different from mine at home.

And gosh it’s been cold in NYC! I really like the weather and am not complaining about needing a coat and scarf! We will be sweating until November at least. Nice to flashback to winter in April.

Me and Amy in the Park on Thursday, which wasn’t as cold and more sunny.

Jeffrey’s dad is a major Beatles fan, we walked to the area where there’s a memorial for John Lennon and saw the building where he was killed in front of.

On Friday morning, I just started walking! I had a map and an idea of a plan. I had breakfast at Le Pain Quidoten by myself, which was right by the Park, and then walked on the west side and and saw another Magnolia Bakery and this cute place that I would have probably liked for lunch.

I didn’t get to try a Magnolia cupcake, but they looked delish.

Then I crossed through the Park and saw this pretty fountain, which I remembered from my last trip here in September 2007!

This was me in September ’07. I came here to look for wedding dresses and found one on that trip.

This is me on the day I found my dress at Reem Acra!
Ok enough of reminiscing…here are the cherry blossoms I saw.

And then I shared a cupcake with my friend Andrea at Crumbs Bakery! Cookies and Cream. YUM. So cakey. And so gigantic.

That’s it for this post! Many more pictures, but I’ll put them all in a Facebook album when we get back.
Tune in next for pictures from a day trip to the Hamptons!

Ohhh I’m glad you tried a Crumbs cupcake!! I know people out there will disagree with me, but I think that Crumbs > Magnolia
Yes it was fun to see! PB & Co. was on my list, and Levain Bakery, but didn’t make it to either! Have to come back.
