Seems like I just wrote about Week 13. Guess thing is going by quickly! This week, we are the size of a lemon according to Babycenter! It even weights 1.5 ounces. Oh the days when it was a poppyseed and then sesame seed.
This week, I have reverted a bit to not wanting to pack a lunch. One day I even went to Subway. I try not to leave for lunch usually, but a veggie sandwich sounded good when nothing seemed good at 7:30 a.m. in my kitchen. I also boiled eggs thinking I’d make egg salad, and then later that day I thought egg salad sounded gross. Now I have four hard boiled eggs in the fridge. I used to think that cravings and aversions were made up, but they aren’t!
I have also been very tired this week. Our weekend was busy with the Bar Mitzvah keeping us going. We had family in on Thursday and I felt nonstop until Sunday night. The tired really catches up, there’s no fighting it.
I have been reading Jenny McCarthy’s book called Belly Laughs. It is just one of the pregnancy books I’m reading, but this one is kind of a “girlfriends guide” to what’s going on. More entertaining than the What to Expect book.
Another funny craving this week was for cake pops. Over the weekend at the Bar Mitzvah, there were cake pops. I had two halves on Saturday night and that was all I wanted. Then on Monday…and Tuesday…and Wednesday, all I could think about was cake pops. Luckily, there were leftovers so I went and brought some home. If you keep thinking about it for 4 days, it’s a legit craving!
I also did some exercise this week–walks! Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday mornings, all around the neighborhood for about 45 minutes each. That’s pretty good so far, and I hope to exercise on Friday, Saturday and Sunday too. Every week is different.
That’s about it this week! Any questions or thoughts?
