And another week has come and gone. This week, we are the length of a spaghetti squash! Holy !@^%$ that is long and hard to imagine a whole squash inside my belly! It is almost one pound and starting to look like a newborn, according to BabyCenter.
(not the most revealing shirt of a bump, but I wanted to show something from this week. This shirt isn’t maternity, but is definitely more snug than it used to be.)
The highlight of this week was another trip. Although it was just for 24 hours, travel is travel and it takes a little more of a toll on me now. Where we might have gone to a later dinner on a previous trip or stayed out later, or just tried to fit more in, this trip we were home early, went to bed early, and I made sure I had some time to put my feet up.
On Sunday, I spent a lot of time in the kitchen. Jeffrey helped too! He is a great sous chef and dishwasher. It’s been great to have a normal appetite and energy to make good dishes, and I’m taking advantage of it while it’s here. Then, I put my feet up that afternoon. Do you see a pattern–busy, busy, put feet up. Repeat.

For exercise this week, I am still sticking to Define and walking. I did Define last Thursday and Monday, and walked on Friday, Saturday (to stadium and back, not really that long, but it’s a lot of standing outside and that gets tiring!), and Sunday on the treadmill mixed with light weights after. Again totals about 4-5 days per week of exercise. Good enough for me, and I’m very happy with that.
Major decisions I hope to decide on before Thanksgiving are a ordering a dresser, glider and registering for an infant seat (car seat).
We go back to the doctor in one week from today for another monthly appointment. I’m curious to see another picture of the baby (we’ll be doing an ultrasound) and to see how much weight I’ve gained. Pretty sure I’ve hit a major growth spurt in the last four weeks! After this one, I only have one more monthly one, and then in January I am every two weeks! This is going very fast when you look at doctor appointments!! Hard to believe by Jan. 1 I’ll be in my 30th week. That seems like big time.

Looking gorgeous, Marci
aww you are nice!
