We had a great weekend at home. We solved our sleep problem and all had some nice, restful nights. More on that later this week. I even baked some scones and we cooked dinner on Sunday night for friends. We took a family trip to Central Market on Saturday and Logan loved it. He is becoming less of a baby and more of a little boy. It’s a lot of fun now!

So glad I made some time for baking. I had no occasion for these, but just felt like cooking something sweet. It was this recipe, Orange Chocolate Chip Scones, that I last made almost a year ago in circle form this time instead of triangle. I also made some little raw chocolate chip bites to keep in the freezer for snacks or dessert.

On Saturday night, we went to the Kenny Chesney/Tim McGraw concert called Brothers of the Sun Tour. It was really fun and they are awesome entertainers. They each played over 90 minutes separately and then a few songs together. Really cool. They are two of my favorite country stars and I remember listening to Tim’s CD in my Jeep when I was 16. Long time ago!

That is Kenny being lifted over the crowd to the stage. Amazing how no one uses real cameras anymore, just iPhones.
Hard to believe summer is about over! We have one more weekend trip this weekend and then I go back to work and Logan goes to school. I really can’t believe it’s been almost five months and the time has come to go back!

Good to know! I LOVE my little baby girl, but I can’t wait to run errands without her crying because she’s in the carseat, or just wants to be held. I am looking forward to when she can sit in the cart, smile, laugh and just look around for longer than 15 minutes without fussiness.
