We had a nice little weekend at home, the only one in the next month that is actually quiet and normal where we are both in town the whole time. Football season is upon us. I experimented more with making baby food in the Beaba Babycook cooker, which I need to write about soon. I also meal-planned for this coming week and hope to continue making dinner at home a few nights. We made two dinners at home last week and I baked cookies. I think we are adapting to our new work/school schedule just fine.

Logan spent Friday night with his Houston grandparents, while Mom and Dad actually went to a MOVIE and dinner. First one since at least last December probably. It wasn’t even a good movie, but nice to have time to see one. We missed the little boy though. Our house was very quiet.

We also started the baby proofing process. We don’t have plans right now to put up gates and start child locking all cabinets, but we did want to replace our iron coffee table with something softer. We found this coffee table a few weeks ago and it was delivered on Saturday afternoon. Much better! Now we aren’t scared to have Logan on our laps in the living room or rolling on the floor in there. Next up is to replace the rug.
