Labor Day Weekend

Logan’s first Labor Day weekend was a lot of fun. Having an extra day to get things done, spend time with family, and even cook was great!

On Saturday, Jeffrey went to Austin for the first UT game of the season and Logan and I stayed home overnight by ourselves. He is a good little sidekick. Lily and Logan and I all took care of each other. The sleeping through the night is key to staying home alone overnight!

Even though Logan was asleep before kickoff at 7 p.m., he wore his UT outfit all day.

I also spent a lot of time in the kitchen! I made banana bread for a new neighbor, morning glory muffins to take for breakfast and freeze most of them, dinner on Monday night, and some more baby food for Logan (post coming soon about making baby food). A picture of those morning glory muffins are actually on a canvas print in my office at work. It’s one of my favorite food pictures I’ve taken.

This weekend, I also went shopping for Fall clothes, cleaned out my closet, organized the pantry, exercised a few times, and updated my iTunes playlists. So nice to get all that stuff done.

Hoping for a productive week too!

  1. Sounds like a really productive weekend! I always have such a good week when I get a lot done in the kitchen with prep and/or freeze and I love organizing things!
