This past weekend, we were in Birmingham, AL for Jeffrey’s grandfather’s 90th birthday celebration. All of their kids, grandkids and four great grandkids were there to celebrate with him. It was a busy, busy weekend, and here are a few pictures to share.

Logan is a great traveler, better than me I think! He cut two teeth while we were gone, which brings its own side effects like fussiness and a runny nose, and also taught himself to do push ups (push up on his tummy to hands and toes) and scoot backward. He was an A+ traveler for both plane rides, taking his bottles and then falling asleep. And he was smiley and happy and took his naps in a new environment each day. Can’t ask for much else. This age has been a lot of fun for me and I’m enjoying it. He is definitely easier to handle, happier, predictable and just a lot of fun. More on that in his 6 month update!

We had a family photo session on Saturday afternoon for all of the extended family. Here are just a couple of us. How cute is he in the grass? He ended up grabbing handfuls and looking at it in his hands. So curious.

Then we had a lovely dinner party on Saturday night for all of Papa’s friends and family.

What a cute Papa.

It was fun to be in B’ham with Jeffrey’s family. It’s such a cute town, so pretty and Southern and charming. We love visiting. Can’t wait to go back in a couple of months!
