Who is this big kid? When did he get big enough to wear pants and baseball caps backwards and hold toys and sit up?
We had a great Fall weekend. I love October. We were all home in Houston all weekend (a first since August), and the weather on Sunday was awesome. I wore a jacket all day!
Here are a few pictures from the weekend.
Lily had a little minor surgery on Thursday and is doing fine. She had two little bumps removed from her side and had her teeth cleaned. She looks beat up but had a relaxing weekend at home. She found a new spot to avoid the lawn mowers on Saturday morning–above my head.

We had a birthday party for a 1-year-old friend and Logan had fun. It was the first party where he was big enough to actually play. So much more fun to not have to hold him the whole time. Sitting up rocks.

We had friends over on Saturday night to watch the UT game. Texas lost, but we hosted a fun game party. I made pretzel sticks dipped in white chocolate and sprinkles that don’t look as neat as I envisioned. I also made some gooey chocolate brownies that did not cut as nicely as the picture in Cooking Light. They were actually so messy to cut that I ended up leaving them in the baking pan. How did the picture in the magazine have them cut perfect?

Poor Lily, you can sort of see her cut on her side. She lost a little fluff but it will grow back!

On Sunday, the weather was perfect. We all walked at Memorial Park (3 mile loop). We timed it during a nap hoping Logan would sleep in his stroller, but he was enjoying the weather and the sights and didn’t shut his eyes the whole time. We also went to a neighborhood park and tried out the baby swing for the first time. He loved it. I think we’ll be going back often.

Logan also recently discovered cell phones and remote controls. Just hanging with Dad!

We had a great weekend!
