Hello again, it has been a while. Let me catch you up, internet friends.

Last Sunday, I had a birthday, # 29. It was a lovely weekend. My parents came to town again, we went to a special dinner last Saturday with my parents and in-laws, and on Sunday, it was sunny. I knew it would be, it’s always sunny on January 6. There were lots of clouds and rainy days before, and lots of rain after. We did a lot of ordinary things, but they were extra special on my birthday. In honor of #29, I went to the gym, went to the grocery, went to lunch, Target and playgroup with Logan and Jeffrey, and we cooked dinner at home. Logan was asleep by 7, I was in bed by 8 p.m. to watch TV and get ready for going back to work the next day. I didn’t have to do my hair, and I got to spend the whole day with my family.

The past year was a busy and very memorable one with lots of changes. I will always remember I was 28 when I became a mom (to a human, I was 26 when we got Lily!). I hope my last year in my 20s is ordinary and special, all at the same time.
Today while writing this, I realized I spent my morning doing ordinary things, but they are just what I want to be doing, I would not rather be doing anything else. I took Logan to school then went to the gym and grocery, and then I cooked food for Logan to have for lunch and dinners for a few days. I cleaned his playroom and his room, I walked the dog. I signed him up for Spring swim lessons, I made a note to re-sign him up for Music. It is not all that interesting to blog about, which is probably why I don’t write often anymore. But it’s just what I want to be doing in my 29th year.
